Course.
- Understanding of the practical as well of theory side of installing
components into a computer
- Safety – personal – equipment.
- Tools – how to use them.
- Technical specification who to interpret them
- How to put the right system together to meet a particular
clients needs.
- How to get the right components for the job.
- How to fit it all together and make it work.
- Fix it if it doesn’t work.
- How to relate to customer/employer about what you’ve done.
- How to arrange feedback on work done.
Practical
Aims of the Course.
- Make you familiar with how things work and fit together.
- Strip down computers.
- Work with computers on test benches.
- Put the computers back together.
- Install operating systems for customers/employers.
- Optimise the operating systems for the customers/employers need.
- Know how to upgrade and existing installation with minimum disturbance
to customers/employers.
- Connect a small network and make it functional.
